ABOUT DAWNMARIE
Prior to launching Personal Office Management, Inc., Dawnmarie enjoyed a twenty-year banking career at several of the largest banking institutions in Chicago.
Dawnmarie leads and advocates our company’s philosophy of doing the best job possible for every client. She manages our clients’ personal financial needs relying upon a flexible attitude, a strong financial background, and years of experience. Using her creativity and positive spirit, she is adept at problem-solving, relationship building and managing multiple priorities.
Dawnmarie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in American Studies from Rosary College and later completed a Master of Science Degree in Public Service at DePaul University.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, home improvement projects, exercise, travel, and attending theater and concerts.
Karen Lavery

ABOUT KAREN
Karen’s career began at a consulting firm developing computer-based training for the banking industry and building successful courseware. She continued her career at a boutique design firm where she ran all aspects of the business including bookkeeping, human resources, and project management, servicing large clients like Sears Holdings and Ulta, Inc. Before joining Personal Office Management, Karen spent 10 years at Sears Holdings managing the design aspects of capital projects for over 2000 Kmart and Sears retail locations throughout the country. She assisted C-suite Executives with trusted and sensitive details and confidential projects.
Karen received a BS in Education from Northern Illinois University.
In her free time, Karen enjoys to work on interior design projects at her family’s cottage.
Erin Zinni

ABOUT ERIN
Prior to joining Personal Office Management, Inc., Erin enjoyed a 20+ year career in a variety of administrative and financial roles including Operations Manager for a successful Public Relations and Communications firm. She provided business-critical organization and support to the firm’s president, senior management team, and junior associates, allowing them to fully focus on providing their clients with the white glove service they deserve.
Erin brings this organization, support, and commitment to her Personal Office Management clients.
Erin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, where she was awarded scholarships for both academics and collegiate athletics for Diving. While at Rider, Erin would go on to compete and win several Diving titles and honors, including 2001 & 2003 Conference championships, and being named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference’s Diver Of The Year in 2003. She is currently a licensed and bonded Notary Public for the State of Illinois.
Outside her passion for serving her clients’ needs, Erin pursues personal enrichment through reading, traveling, and being physically active, all while enjoying life with her husband and young daughter.
Diane Goodman

I enjoy managing the unexpected issues that arise, researching and preparing options. My goal is to make sure nothing falls through the cracks for my clients.”

ABOUT DIANE
Diane enjoyed a successful career beginning as a computer programmer at a Chicago-area bank. With an advanced degree, and fine-tuned technical skills she exceled at Arthur Anderson tackling a myriad of projects during her consulting career.
Client service was paramount at Andersen. Juggling multiple objectives and managing people and service was a great experience, preparing Diane for parenthood, volunteerism, and a career at Personal Office Management, Inc.
Diane earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University in Computer Studies and Economics, and then earned her MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Finance and Policy.
As a parent of two grown sons that are now launched into the real world, Diane enjoys gardening, traveling, hiking, biking, and reading. She has spent time volunteering with JDRF, her church, the local school district, the Boy Scouts, and the high school marching band program.
Joei Shavitz
“I use my financial, organizational, and office management skills to help my clients keep their home offices and finances in order. I enjoy planning the optimal path and executing these plans in the most beneficial way possible.”

ABOUT JOEI
Prior to joining Personal Office Management, Inc. Joei’s career spanned over 30 years managing projects and relationships, assessing and meeting needs, troubleshooting problems and researching and presenting best practices. As a project manager, she took ownership of her client accounts, providing creative services for a myriad of jobs, and keeping it all organized while following detailed criteria. She has managed the financial aspects of a graphic design business and worked independently as a small business owner.
Joei earned her BS from UW-Madison in Family & Consumer Communications.
She has served on community boards for many years including the Northbrook Arts Commission. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, playing piano and walking/hiking; and she makes it to the Farmer’s Market whenever she can.
Monica Brennan

ABOUT MONICA
Before joining Personal Office Management, Monica worked for 19 years in Motorola's Finance Department. She held positions in numerous areas, including Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial Accounting & Reporting, Budgeting and Variance Analysis and Operations & Sales Support.
Monica’s clients have wide-ranging financial management needs, and she enjoys applying her experience and her skills to fulfill those needs.
Monica received her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Elmhurst College.
In her free time, Monica enjoys live music, yoga, biking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
